Cooler Screens raises $80M Series A

Chicago-based , a developer of interactive digital displays to replace glass doors in store aisles, has $80 million in a new Series C funding round.

Investors in the round include , Microsoft’s venture fund,  and others.

The company’s full-door ads are designed to draw shoppers attention and only run when consumers are at a distance. After installing screens in 50 Walgreens locations in the Chicago area, the startup announced plans to expand to 2,500 of its stores across the United States.
